Meet Billie Rescued 2009

Hi. I'm Billie & I'm only 2 1/2 years old so I've got lots of Affen years to be your best and closest friend. My coat is a deep, rich black; it is very wiry, and naturally short (about ½" long over most of my body). My face and ears have nice Affen hair and I have a beard so you can tell I'm an Affen. I'm a little taller, leggier than most Affens but I'm keeping my figure slim (I weigh in at just over 14 lbs). I am spayed, micro-chipped, and heart worm negative. All my immunizations are up to date so I can come home with you right away.

My foster mom says I'm a well behaved young lady. I walk nicely on a leash. I love to play. I am house trained. I'm quick at learning commands. I'm working on "sit", "stay", "come", "lay", "down", and "off". I've mastered "wait" and doing very good at staying out of the very tiny kitchen. It's a lot to learn in a short time - but I'm trying my very best. I get to sleep on the bed with her and her forever Affen.

My foster mom is also helping me to warm up to people. I liked her almost right away; usually I'm a little shy. I prefer ladies but if you're patient with me and treat me with love and tenderness, I can learn to like guy humans. I could probably do well in agility training because I run like the wind. I would do really well in a home where my human is around most of the time, or I can accompany them. I'm very devoted. I am terrific with cats and a great playmate for another dog.

Billie has been adopted by a teacher and a firefighter in north central Georgia.
