Meet Emily Rescued 2009

Beautiful Emily is just 5 years old and is SO ready to bond with a forever Mom or Dad.  Her foster Mom says she is the perfect blend of Affen impishness and snuggly lap dog.  She loves and plays with all her canine foster sisters and brothers and adores exploring, running and helping with the gardening in her big back yard.  She's a trim 11 pounds and is very food motivated and hence easy to train.  She is very well behaved and rarely has an accident in the house.  She does have issues with cats (loves to bark and bark at them) so will either need a home with no felines or an adopter who has  patience to teach her that cats are our friends.

Emily is an exceptionally pretty and friendly little girl who has a docked tail and natural ears and after an initial shyness, is simply oozing with charm.  She loves to play and cuddle in equal measure and is always ready to go on an adventure with you, especially if it includes a car ride.  She even enjoys a good brushing, bath or nail trimming.   Every night she puts herself to bed in her bedside crate but would also love to spend the night in bed with you and is a great sleeping buddy.  Emily  will make a loyal and loving lifetime companion for someone whom she is hoping to meet very soon.

She is healthy, heart worm negative, has been spayed, is up to date on her vaccinations and is being fostered in east Texas.  We prefer to place dogs within driving distance of where they are being fostered.  If someone from outside the local area is approved for adoption, they must be willing to fly in to get Emily and that can only happen if she will travel home in the cabin with the passenger.  We do not ship our dogs.

Emily has been adopted and went to a new home in northern Mississippi. She is living in a brand new house.
